Week in Review (January 19th, 2025)
👽 Personal
- I have a phone interview scheduled for Monday. It's definitely not the most ideal job, but it's a job.
- Alright, put this under the "Wow, I had no idea" category, but the horror film I Spit on Your Grave has a very memorable poster. I guess, a couple of years ago, Demi Moore wrote an autobiography and admitted that was her behind. 🤯
- James introduced me to the concept of hauntology this week. It's been absolutely mind-blowing (and depressing) to research. I have to take in segments because I could get so lost in it. It's basically a philosophy meeting late stage capitalism wrapped in nostalgia.
🏋️Healthy Living
- I stayed under my calories every day but Saturday. Our internet went down for a few hours, and I decided to order a pizza and enjoy the evening. I made up for it on Sunday.
- I went for a walk one day, but my working out has slowed down due to me not mentally feeling as well.
📺 Watched (A Glimpse at Some of the Stuff I Watched)
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer (S2 E4-6) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - My wife and I continued our slow watch of Buffy.
- Monk (S1 E12) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Monk is one of the Blue Skies shows I haven't seen, and it's not my favorite in comparison to Psych, Burn Notice or White Collar, but I like to watch an episode every now and again.
- Grimm (S1 E4-6) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I got a few more epiosdes of Grimm in. I'm enjoying the show, but I'm not head over heels with it yet.
